These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, purchases and services provided by The NPD Academy.
The NPD Academy provides sewing education and related services, including face-to-face tuition, online tuition, masterclasses, sewing clubs, consultations and self-learn courses.
By making a booking or purchase with The NPD Academy, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Bookings
Bookings are subject to availability.
Some services require a consultation before a booking can be made. Where this applies, the consultation is the first step in determining the most suitable learning option.
A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully received and the booking has been confirmed through our booking system.
3. Tuition and Learning Services
The content and pace of tuition may vary depending on your experience, goals and chosen service.
For private tuition, sessions are tailored to the individual student's needs.
For masterclasses, workshops and group sessions, the content will be based on the description provided at the time of booking.
4. Appointments and Punctuality
Students are responsible for attending their sessions at the booked time.
Please arrive on time and be ready to begin at the scheduled start time.
If you arrive late, the session will normally still finish at the originally scheduled time and additional time will not ordinarily be provided.
Late arrivals and no-shows are not eligible for reimbursement.
5. Rescheduling
If you need to change your appointment, you must provide at least 24 hours' notice.
Where at least 24 hours' notice is provided, we will allow you to reschedule your appointment, subject to availability.
Requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are treated as late cancellations and may not be rescheduled or reimbursed.
Late arrivals and no-shows are not reimbursed.
We strongly recommend contacting us as soon as possible if you know you cannot attend.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund & Rescheduling Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
7. Self-Learn Courses
Self-learn courses provide digital educational content and are accessed through the platform specified at the time of purchase.
